I have been watching this construction site develop over the past several weeks to increased just me. Yesterday I called the Ellerbe Creek watershed and the Eno River associations both telling me that this watershed is not in there jurisdiction. It started out as a deep ravine with a minor creek flowing from somewhere maybe Jordan lake. It got muddy or yesterday it was so muddy has to be effectively not a free-flowing Creek. Today the entire thing is gone. There is no creek no evidence of a creek it’s just been filled in. When I went up and spoke to them they told me The city of Durham had approved this project. And I said of course they did but that still doesn’t change the fact that you can’t fill in water shit under federal law. They told me that the water had been diverted. This is so distressing to me
